Plane crash kills one person in Brighton, CO

BRIGHTON, CO — A person died in a plane crash Wednesday near Brighton, officials confirmed.

Deputies were called to 160th Avenue and Gun Club Road around 12:15 p.m. and found the plane. A coroner was called to assist the deputies.

The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board were notified, the Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office said.

The victim’s identity has not been released. It’s unclear if anyone else was in the plane.
